Morning everyone! Year 6 had a great first week back after the Easter Break last week; the children were engaged and driven throughout the week and produced some superb work throughout the curriculum. We have just 2 weeks before SATs week and the children are in a great place for the big days! Well done to those pupils who managed to complete the homework task set over the holidays; if you still want to earn 20 nut notes or a non-school uniform pass, you have until Thursday to bring back your task sheet signed off by your parent.
Last week, we had a lot of fun taking penalties against Sammy the Shrimp, as well as writing some superb hot tasks in English, beginning to explore life in Ancient Greece, starting our Athletics unit in P.E and continuing to read The Maze Runner. With just 2 weeks to go before SATs, please ensure your children are doing any last minute revision: before Easter we sent home their latest Mock papers; QLA's which identify any targets; independent learning books and homework tasks to try. We also have a plethora of activities printed in class for your child to bring home with them! Spellings: responsible
