Well, we are officially half way through the school year! Your children have worked so hard this week completing their hot tasks and their unseen writing tasks. They also completed this term's arithmetic test. We can now update their targets, ready for our next parent consultations - keep an eye for more information coming soon.
Payments due for Colchester Zoo and First Aid - both can be found on parentpay. You can also pay more from the residential for year 6 if you have the 'spare' money this month!
Spellings for the 28.2.25 - I know how to spell words where ‘ough’ makes an /or/ sound - afterthought, bought, brought, fought, nought, ought, sought,
thought, thoughtfulness, wrought.
Monday 24th - PE kits please.
Wednesday 26th - Cross Country competition by invite only.
Thursday 27th - Miss Jackson and Mrs Woods' writing group (by invite only) and the Valentine's Disco.
After half term, there will be 2 new pupils joining Willows Class. The children have met Georgianna already and Aashrav will be coming too. We know the children will be welcoming and help us settle the children in as quickly as possible.
We also have Miss Worboyes, a student teacher, working with us for 3 weeks, learning the trade in Hazel Class.
We have decided due to the hard work we have seen this term, there will be no doodle homework over the half term break. We look forward to welcoming you back refreshed and ready to begin the countdown to Year 6!
