12.3.25:
What fun we had last week with World Book Day, and congratulations to everyone and their costumes! It was clear that everyone put lots of thought and effort into their creation - especially those upcycling day-to-day household objects and other things that might normally be thrown away! This week, our Doodle Learning tasks focus on pronouns and possessive pronouns, an essential part of our upcoming narrative fiction writing in English. In maths, we’re tackling finding equivalent fractions, such as ²⁄₃ and ³⁄₄—building on our work so far and reinforcing a skill that’s useful in everyday life.
This week’s spellings feature words ending in "-cian", available on Spelling Shed or in students' spelling books. A quick reminder—please ensure spelling books are brought in every Friday for the test. If any student needs a replacement, they can ask their teacher tomorrow.
Finally, Red Nose Day is next Friday, 21st March, we look forward to seeing what you wear on this day to express your support for the cause!
Let’s keep up the great work, and have a brilliant week ahead!
