We hope you all had a wonderful holiday and are enjoying the signs of spring, with the weather warming up and the extended sunlight making for brighter days! It’s great to be back and ready for another exciting term ahead.
In our Doodle Learning this week we’re focusing on real-life money calculations, an important skill that ties into everyday problem-solving, and a grammar check to solidify key concepts—these tasks are excellent extensions of our in-class work and may help to clarify anything tricky.
The weekly spelling test resumes on Friday, so let’s get back into the swing of things! The word list can be found in the children’s spelling books and on Spelling Shed, so plenty of practice at home will help them feel confident and prepared.
A reminder from WPSA—the much-anticipated Glow Crazy school disco is happening tomorrow! There’s still time to grab a ticket at the WPSA website. The KS2 party will run from 17:15 to 18:45, and it promises to be a fantastic event. We can’t wait to see everyone there!
As a result of this, as mentioned on Class Dojo, this means that Mr Rothwell and Miss Dee’s after school tutori club will not be running this week.
The year 4 team,
:)
