End of Term Update & Exciting News for Next Term! 🌟
Dear Parents/Carers,
Another fantastic term has flown by, and we couldn’t be prouder of the children! They have been fantastic learners, showing so much curiosity and enthusiasm throughout our Space topic. It has been wonderful to see them so engaged, asking brilliant questions, and making great progress in their learning.
As we head into the break, we want to say a huge thank you for your continued support. We are so excited for the next term, where our new topic will be ‘Big and Small’! 🌿🦖🐞
This exciting module will explore:🐛 Mini beasts – discovering tiny creatures and their habitats🌱 Gardening – learning how plants grow🦸 Giants – exploring big characters in stories🦕 Dinosaurs – stepping back in time to learn about prehistoric giants!
We are setting up a Garden Centre role-play area in our EYFS classroom, and we would love your help in gathering some resources to make it as engaging and realistic as possible!
If you have any of the following items at home that you no longer need, we would greatly appreciate any donations:🌱 Children’s gardening gloves🌼 Small plant pots (plastic or biodegradable)🌾 Seeds (flowers, herbs, or vegetables)🪴 Small watering cans🛠️ Toy or child-safe gardening tools (small shovels, trowels, rakes)📦 Empty seed packets or garden catalogues for role-play. We would also greatly appreciate weekly donations of fresh fruit and vegetables to enrich the children’s real-life learning experiences.
These items will help create an exciting hands-on learning experience where the children can explore planting, growing, and caring for plants.
If you are able to contribute, please bring any donations to the classroom. Thank you so much for your support! 🌿💚
We can’t wait for all the adventures and learning ahead! Wishing you all a lovely, restful half-term, and we look forward to seeing you back soon.
